Denny is the former Director of Cartographic Operations at MapQuest Publishing and brings over 35 years of cartographic
production and management experience to Spatial Graphics. As a professional cartographer, Denny has personally serviced such
accounts as World Book Encyclopedia and Best Western International among many others. He has experience managing
large staffs of cartographers, with responsibilities ranging from project management, cartographic production, and QA/QC to
team building, budgeting, and performance assessment.
After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education/Geography from Millersville University,
Denny joined Donnelley Cartographic Services and worked his way up to the position of Operations Manager within their Digital
Mapping Services Division. Along the way he was promoted to increasingly responsible positions, including Senior
Cartographer, Master Cartographer, Directory Supervisor, Education Supervisor (on two separate occasions), Operations
Manager, and finally Director of MapQuest's Cartographic Operations. With the transformation of Donnelley Cartographic Services into
GeoSystems Global Corporation and ultimately MapQuest, Denny has seen and done it all as a cartographic professional.
An avid skier and cyclist, Denny enjoys spending time at the family cabin in the mountains of northern PA.

Kevin Lear

Kevin started his career at Maryland Cartographics, Inc. in Columbia, Maryland after earning a degree
in Geography/Cartography from University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) in 1985. Most recently he
held the position of Director of Projects in the map publishing division at MapQuest where he acted as a liaison between Sales,
Operations, Finance, and the Clientele. He brings over 20 years of cartographic production and management experience to Spatial Graphics.
From initial concept development to final delivery, Kevin focuses his energy and enthusiasm on customer
service. Serving the education, corporate, and government markets, he has delivered map programs to The American Society
of International Law, CIA, Houghton Mifflin, Prentice Hall, Broadman & Holman Publishing Group, KOA, and RCI, to name just a few.

Tom Boch

With a background in accounting and finance, Tom is SGI’s “numbers guy.” Prior to SGI, Tom spent seven years with MapQuest as
Manager of Finance and Accounting. Tom began his professional career with Arthur Andersen in their audit and business
assurance practice, earning his CPA license.
When Tom isn’t minding SGI’s P’s & Q’s, he indulges his passion for aviation. He also enjoys helping his wife Joyce renovate their old Victorian home.
Tom graduated from Shippensburg University with a degree in Accounting. Prior to that, he received a B.S. in Biology from Messiah College.

Mark Leitzell

At Spatial Graphics, Mark is responsible for the
coordination of all GIS related activities and
government-related project management.
Mark received a B.S. in Geography and graduated Student Marshall for the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences from The
Pennsylvania State University in 1989. While at Penn State, he worked as a research assistant on a National Science Foundation
project involving interactive computer maps and co-authored a published software review.
Mark started his career as a cartographer at R.R. Donnelley in 1990 and transitioned to Geographic Information System and Data
Management positions as the company became MapQuest. In his GIS and Data Manager roles, Mark’s primary focus was on the
creation, development, enhancement and maintenance of the company’s proprietary cartographic data assets, resourcing and
management of various government data driven mapping projects and managing the efforts associated with refreshing vendor and
proprietary data sources for use on the MapQuest.com commercial site.
Mark also served in the Army National Guard for 23 years where he developed an appreciation for tactical map use in fulfilling
the responsibilities of various Infantry, Artillery and Intelligence leadership roles.
Away from the office, Mark enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, biking, golfing and completing home improvement projects.
